Frequently Asked Questions

Yes I do! I accept a few major insurances in Texas.  I am not in network with insurances in Florida however.  Please contact me directly to see if your insurance is a match or discuss additional options including out of network reimbursement (yes it is possible!) or sliding scale/reduced rates if needed.

Absolutely! You do not need to be biologically born female to work with me. My work with women includes all women – all members of the LGBTQIA+ community, those who identify as female, non-binary persons, trans women, along with cis women. I work with pregnant and birthing persons, including those who do not identify as women, single moms, and all couples, including same-sex couples.

The length of time varies greatly between clients. While some clients do work with me long term, many are able to accomplish many goals and make great progress in just a few months.

Individual therapy and coaching sessions are 50 minutes. Intake sessions are 75 minutes.

Your designated hour is your financial responsibility; therefore you agree to pay the full fee for your appointment for the duration of our therapeutic arrangement. I require 24hrs notice for cancellations. If you do not cancel at least 24hrs prior to your scheduled session time, you will be charged for the full fee of the session. You are not required to pay for sessions that I cancel. I will make every effort to alert you of planned vacation times in advance and will give as much notice as possible for any unexpected urgent need to reschedule.

In most cases, information shared with me cannot and will not be shared without a written release providing your consent. However, there are some exceptions. These exceptions are: (1) if there is a court order for the therapist to appear, or produce client charts at the request of a subpoena, (2) if the therapist learns of a serious and potential threat to another person, (3) if the therapist believes the client may harm themselves, (4) if there is evidence, knowledge of, or suspicion of abuse or neglect to a child or vulnerable adult. These confidentiality practices apply to coaching clients along with therapy clients.

I accept HSA & FSA accounts and all major credit cards. A credit card on file is required to book an appointment.
Health Savings Accounts (HSA’s) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s) can be used to cover the cost of therapy and often qualify as a medical expense.

My therapy practice is based in Southlake, Texas, however all services are delivered via online therapy.  Clients living throughout Texas and Florida are welcome to see me for online therapy.
